What is International Surfing Day? International Surfing Day was established in 2005 by the Surfrider Foundation, and other 501(c)(3) organizations. ISD is held annually on the third Saturday of June and is an unofficial, environmentally conscious sports-centered holiday that celebrates the sport of surfing, surfing lifestyle, and the sustainability of ocean resources. This day is very important to our team here at Waves as we are a surfing based business. We are extremely thankful that we have the opportunity to share the wonderful sport of surfing with all of our awesome surf participants.
